CLIENT BACKGROUND
Seeds Therapy Center is a renowned institution dedicated to providing specialized therapy and education services for individuals with disabilities. The center focuses on fostering an inclusive learning environment and aims to empower its students with the knowledge and skills they need to lead fulfilling lives.
DESIGN BRIEF
As an intern graphic designer for Seeds Therapy Center, I played a crucial role in creating engaging and informative illustrations for the center's lesson plans. These lesson plans are specifically designed to aid individuals with disabilities in understanding and learning about the complexities of the human body. These illustrations will serve as visual aids to enhance the learning experience and facilitate better comprehension for the target audience.
CHARACTER DESIGN
Seeds Therapy Center held a profound belief that the illustrations created for their lesson plans should authentically represent the diversity of real individuals, embracing imperfections and celebrating the uniqueness of each person. The center recognized that portraying "perfect" bodies could create unrealistic standards and potentially alienate individuals with disabilities. Instead, they aimed for a harmonious blend of cartoon-like elements and realism, ensuring that the illustrations were relatable and approachable.
